THE NATIVE EXPEDITION GUAJIRA
Cultural, biological and 4x4 Expedition
The Guajira peninsula is the northernmost region of Colombia, a land of landscapes that contrast powerfully between them and is also the home of Colombia's native culture with the largest population: the Wayuu culture, an emblem of the preservation of the ansestral culture. The landscape of the Guajira peninsula is the landscape of a semi-desert ecosystem of thorny vegetation formed as it is a great plain exposed to the trade winds, there is only 1 small mountainous area of approximately 850 meters at its highest point, La Serranía del Macuira.
4 Days trip: Punta Gallinas:
At 8 o'clock in the morning from the De La Vela cape, we continue our journey through La Guajira, which will take us to another destination: Punta Gallinas, the most northern place in South America! A distant place (5 hours approx from De La Vela cape) of impressive desert landscapes and a very diverse and surprising coastal fauna and flora. There we will spend the afternoon to see once again one of the most beautiful sunsets in Colombia. The next day, at 8 in the morning we will start our return to your location in Riohacha.

At the end of the day we will rest for the next day and very early in the morning, start our trip back to your location in Riohacha.
